Information about Mathematics Department
Department of mathematics is the main department of Patan Multiple Campus. Because of its multidisciplinary nature, Mathematics is associated in different faculties like as Science, Humanities, and Management including BCA, BBA, BSC.CSIT, BIM, and BIT.
The Department comprises of twenty-one faculty members: Two associate professors, nine assistant professors, four teaching assistants and six part time teachings assistants. Among them three faculty members have doctoral degree, four are pursuing doctoral degree in different fields of mathematics from Central Department of Mathematics, Tribhuvan University. Currently associate professor Dr. Ramesh Chandra Timsina is the HOD of this department. The following table shows the status of teaching faculty at the department.
