Dear Students, Faculty Members, Staff, and Esteemed Members of the Patan Multiple Campus Family,
It is a prestigious and honorable moment for me to share this welcome message with our students, faculty members, staff, and the entire Patan Multiple Campus community.
We believe in the transformative power of knowledge in the teaching and learning process of the university system at the campus. Knowledge is not merely the accumulation of information; it is a foundation for values, professional excellence, personal growth, and meaningful contributions to society. Through our commitment to establishing a Center for Academic Excellence, we aim to promote knowledge, innovation, development, happiness, and social welfare.
We strongly believe that our campus’s institutional, strategic, and historical position has a significant role in strengthening the values of higher education in Nepal. In alignment with the strategic plan of Tribhuvan University and the national framework of higher education, we are committed to responding to the rapid changes taking place in knowledge, technology, and the global market.
Our strategic priorities focus on strengthening physical infrastructure, laboratories, institutional development, academic calendars, digital learning pedagogy, research grants, publications and citations, academic governance, departmental capacity, and the professional development of academic and non-academic staff. We are committed to advancing these areas with greater dedication and determination than ever before.
Patan Multiple Campus stands as a university-oriented institution with a strong commitment to academic standards, values, and excellence. At a time when the Government of Nepal has emphasized the importance of quality, relevance, and accountability in higher education, we are determined to contribute meaningfully to this national mission.
Currently, the campus offers 10 Master’s programs in Humanities, Management, Science, and Information Technology, including MIT and MCA, along with general Bachelor’s programs such as BBS, BA, and BSc, and specialized programs including BSc CSIT, BIT, BCA, and BBA. With more than 13,000 students and over 300 professional and qualified professors and teaching assistants, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive, innovative, and academically enriching environment.
We assure our students of a strong academic system supported by project-based pedagogy, effective academic calendars, master routines, e-attendance systems, and both digital and physical monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. We also emphasize academic enrichment through workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and other extracurricular and professional development activities. Furthermore, we continue to promote a research-oriented academic culture through seven peer-reviewed departmental journals and mini and collaborative research projects supported by the University Grants Commission. Our commitment to research, innovation, and knowledge creation is reflected in the academic advancement of more than 20 professors pursuing PhD degrees in different disciplines at universities across the world.
The campus has achieved significant milestones, including the successful organization of the First International Conference on Economics in 2024, collaboration in the Climate Camp with BRIC University, Bangladesh, in 2025, three capacity-building training programs for different faculties, and five guest lectures delivered by distinguished professors from the UK, USA, Italy, and India on diverse academic themes for Master’s students in 2026.
